About BitConvert

We believe everyday digital tasks shouldn't require expensive software or cluttered websites full of pop-ups. BitConvert brings dozens of practical tools together in one clean, fast place so you can get a job done in seconds and move on. Every tool is designed to be simple enough for anyone to use, yet accurate and complete enough for professionals to rely on.

BitConvert includes tools across five categories: PDF tools for merging, splitting, and converting documents; developer utilities like JSON formatting, Base64 encoding, hashing, and JWT decoding; text tools for counting words and changing letter case; image tools for compressing, resizing, and converting pictures; and a full suite of unit converters for length, weight, temperature, volume, area, speed, data storage, and cooking ingredients. New tools are added regularly.

Many of our tools — including image compression, resizing, format conversion, and every unit converter — run entirely inside your browser, which means your data never leaves your device. For tools that require server processing, uploaded files are handled temporarily and deleted automatically. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service. All of our core tools are free to use, with no hidden charges and no watermarks on your results. Advertising helps us keep the lights on and the tools free for everyone. Creating a free account is optional and simply unlocks conveniences such as higher limits and saved file history.

BitConvert is built and maintained by Yusuf Doğan, an independent software developer who wanted a single, trustworthy home for the small conversions and formatting tasks that come up every day.
