Privacy Policy

When you use BitConvert, we may collect: uploaded files (temporarily for conversion), usage data (anonymous analytics), account information (email and name via Google), and IP address (for rate limiting and security).

Your data is used for: converting files to PDF, providing and improving services, enforcing usage limits, and communicating about your account.

Anonymous users: files are deleted 3 hours after conversion. Registered users: files are kept until you delete them from your account, and are then deleted immediately. Uploaded source files are deleted as soon as processing finishes. Deletion is permanent: files are removed from our storage, not just hidden, and an automatic sweep removes anything left behind within 15 minutes. Job metadata (IP address, file names) of anonymous jobs is anonymized after 30 days.

We use Google OAuth for authentication, optional analytics, and cloud infrastructure for secure file processing.

You can access, delete, or export your data, and opt out of analytics. Contact privacy@bitconvert.io for requests.
