QR Code Reader decodes the data hidden inside a QR code from an image you upload, or from a QR captured with your device camera. Drop in a photo or screenshot containing a code and the tool scans it, extracts the encoded content, and shows you the plain text result.
Decoding is handled locally by the jsQR library running in your browser, so the image you scan is never uploaded to a server and stays entirely on your device. It reads common image formats such as JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP, and detects the first clear code in the picture. When the decoded content is a web address, you get a direct option to open the link, and you can copy any text result with a click. Clear, well-lit codes that fill a reasonable part of the frame decode most reliably.
